Rapidtek Technologies Inc.

Rapidtek, in collaboration with the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA), successfully launched its first 3U CubeSat “Nightjar” aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 Transporter-11 mission . Beacon signals from Nightjar were received shortly after launch by UHF radio users around the world. This mission is part of TASA’s Startup Program, and includes partnerships with National Central University and National Taipei University of Technology. Nightjar features Rapidtek’s self-developed Ku-band communications payload, enabling IoT connectivity tests with both fixed and mobile ground terminals. The launch marks a major milestone in Taiwan’s satellite communications development, showcasing Rapidtek’s capabilities in designing, producing, and testing space-qualified payloads. It also reflects a key step toward localized satellite engineering and Taiwan’s next-generation communications vision.
