What exactly is a QSL Card?
Nightjar has made contact successfully. Did you catch the signal?
Recently, Rapidtek has received numerous requests from amateur radio operators around the world asking for our “QSL Card.”
So, what exactly is a QSL Card?
A QSL Card, also known as a “confirmation card,” comes from radio culture and is used to certify a received signal report. When amateur radio operators across the globe successfully receive our satellite’s transmission and share their reception reports, this card becomes a special keepsake we send to them.
This QSL Card marks the success of Rapidtek’s first 3U CubeSat, Nightjar, which continues to operate smoothly in orbit. It also represents the beginning of our next milestone. Our 8U CubeSat program is now underway, with four satellites scheduled to launch between late 2025 and mid‑2026 to open a new chapter for Taiwan’s low Earth orbit satellite technology.
If you have successfully received Nightjar’s signal, share your reception record with us and join this journey through space.
